Calamares is deep fried squid with breading.
500 grams Large Squid cleaned and sliced into rings
0.75 cup Flour
0.75 cup Bread Crumbs
2 large Eggs
1 teaspoon Salt
0.5 teaspoon Pepper
2 cups Cooking Oil
How to Cook
1. Combine flour, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
2. Beat eggs in a bowl. Pour breadcrumbs in another bowl.
3. Coat squid rings in flour. Dip the flour coated squid rings in egg. Coat the egg soaked squid rings in breadcrumbs.
4. Heat oil in a deep fry pan. Fry squid rings for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
