Tortang Talong


Tortang talong is easy on the budget and satisfying. It is filling and delicious, it doesn’t need that much ingredients and you can definitely make it in a hurry.

  • 4 large Eggplants

Pantry Staples
  • 2 Eggs

  • 0 Salt and Pepper

  • 4 tablespoons Cooking Oil

How to Cook

1. Grill eggplant for 10- 15 minutes or until the skin turns black. Rest until cool.
2. Crack eggs in a bowl and add salt and pepper.
3. Peel off the skin of the eggplant. Using the back of a fork, press the meat of the eggplant on a plate until flat.
4. Heat oil in a large pan. Dip the eggplant in beaten eggs and fry for 3-4 minutes each side.
