Embotido is a dish that’s almost always present at any handaan or party. Everyone has their own version of it and is often paired with catsup or hot sauce.

  • 0.5 kilo Ground Pork mix

  • 1 cup Ham minced

  • 0.3 cup Pickle Relish mix

  • 1 pieces Vienna Sausage cut in strips

  • 0.5 cup Grated Cheese peeled

  • 0.25 cup Raisins

  • 1 small Carrot minced

  • 1 small Bell Pepper minced

Pantry Staples
  • 3 medium Eggs

  • 3 small boiled, peeled and quartered Eggs

  • 0 to taste Salt and Pepper

How to Cook

1. Mix all ingredients for base in a large bowl. Divide mixture into 2-3 portions.
2. Prepare steamer.
3. In an aluminum foil, roll 1 portion of base into a rectangular shape, and add strips of vienna sausage, eggs, and cheese in the middle. Roll the base with the aluminum foil intact and seal it by twisting the sides of the foil. Repeat with all the portions.
4. Put embotido roll in a steamer and steam for 1 hour. Cool and slice before serving.
