Belgian waffles difference with the American waffles is that it batter uses whipped egg white making its waffles lighter and fluffier.
2 cups Cake Flour
2 teaspoons Baking Powder
4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter melted
2 cup Milk
0 Cooking Spray
0.5 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
4 pieces Large Eggs White
4 pieces Large Egg Yolk
0.5 teaspoon Salt
2 tablespoon Sugar
How to Cook
1. Preheat waffle iron.
2. In a medium bowl mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
3. Stir egg yolk and sugar together until sugar dissolves. Add vanilla and melted butter.
4. Whisk eggs for 3 minutes or until froth can hold form. Fold and mix yolk mixture. Add flour mixture and stir gently and do not deflate egg mixture.
5. Coat waffle iron with cooking spray and pour ¼ cup of batter. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
