Sweet and Sour Pork

Ingredients
  • 500 grams Pork Tenderloin cut into 1 inch cubes

  • 0.5 cups Flour

  • 1 small Red Bell Pepper

  • 0.5 cup Cornstarch

  • 1 cup Pineapple Chunks

  • 1 tablespoon Cooking Wine

  • 1 cup Pineapple Juice

  • 0.5 cup Rice Vinegar

Pantry Staples
  • 2 tablespoon Soy Sauce

  • 0 Salt and Pepper

  • 0 Oil

  • 1 small sliced Onion

  • 0.5 cup Sugar

  • 0.25 cup Ketchup

  • 1 teaspoon Salt

How to Cook

1. In a bowl, marinate pork in soy sauce and Chinese wine for 30 minutes. Drain and dry.
2. Mix flour and cornstarch in a bowl and add salt and pepper. Coat the pork in flour.
3. Heat pan in medium fire. Add oil and cook pork for 6-10 minutes (3-5 minutes for fish) or until golden brown.
4. Mix all ingredients for sweet and sour sauce and heat for 10 minutes.
5. In another pan, cook onions, bell pepper, and pineapple chunks for 5 minutes. Add cooked pork and sweet and sour sauce. Mix till all meat is coated with sauce. Serve hot.
