Chicken Soup

Description

Chicken simmered in a broth with chopped vegetables. Perfect for cold weather.

Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil

  • 2 cup Chicken cooked and cubes

  • 2 cup Egg Noodles

  • 1 1 Parsley chopped

  • 1 kilo Soup Pack Chicken

  • 1 piece Celery Stalk sliced

  • 8 medium Onion Leeks chopped

  • 2 small Carrots chopped

Pantry Staples
  • 2 cloves minced Garlic

  • 0.5 teaspoon Pepper

  • 1 piece Bay Leaf

  • 1 small quartered Onion

  • 1 small sliced Carrot

  • 1 sliced Celery Stalk

  • 2 cloves crushed Garlic

How to Cook

1. Boil all ingredients for chicken broth in a large pan. When the broth boils, lower the heat and simmer for 2 hours. Drain and keep the liquid.
2. In a large soup pan, sauté garlic in olive oil. Add onion leeks and carrots and cook for 2 minutes. Add the bay leaf, noodles, chicken and chicken broth next and boil for 20mins. Season to taste.
3. Serve hot with parsley on top.
