Paksiw na Isda
Paksiw na Isda is fish that has been simmered in vinegar with lots of ginger and garlic.
4 pieces Small Milk Fish cleaned and scaled
1 medium Bitter Melon sliced thin
4 pieces Long Chili (siling pangsigang)
5 cloves Garlic
1 tablespoon sliced thin Ginger
1 cup Water
1.5 cup White Vinegar
1 tablespoon Fish Sauce
How to Cook
1. In a saucepan, add all ingredients except chilies and fish sauce. Simmer for 20 minutes.
2. Add chilies and fish sauce, adjust saltiness with fish sauce. Continue to simmer for 5 minutes.
3. Check if fish and bitter melon are cooked before serving.
