Kangkong is always easily available making it one of the easiest vegetable dishes to whip up. Ginisang Kangkong is water spinach sautéed in garlic, onion, and tomato.
250 grams Water Spinach (kangkong) washed
1 small Tomato quartered
2 tablespoon Soy Sauce
1 small diced Onion
5 cloves diced Garlic
0 Salt and Pepper
How to Cook
1. Wash and cut water spinach into 4" length.
2. Heat oil in a pan and sauté garlic and onion until the onion becomes translucent.
3. Add tomato and continue to cook for 2 minutes until the tomato dissipates.
4. Add the water spinach and soy sauce. Continue to cook for 5-8 minutes until water spinach is cooked.
