Ginataang Kalabasa

Description

Ginataang Kalabasa is one of the easiest vegetable dishes that packs flavor. While it doesn’t need meat to taste great, you can also add meat for added protein.

Ingredients
  • 250 grams Pork Belly cut into strips

  • 1 can Coconut Cream

  • 250 grams Squash peeled, seeded and cut into 1" cubes

  • 10 pieces Green Beans ends trimmed and cut to 3 inches length

Pantry Staples
  • 0 Salt and Pepper

  • 1 tablespoon Oil

  • 1 chopped Onion

  • 2 cloves Garlic

  • 1 cup Water

How to Cook

1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté onion and garlic for 1 minute.
2. Add pork belly and cook for 5 minutes until cooked (7 minutes for beef; 2 minutes for shrimp).
3. Add squash and cover the pot for 5 minutes or until squash is a little soft but not fully cooked. Add string beans and cook for another 3 minutes.
4. Add coconut cream and season with salt and pepper. Bring to boil before serving, about 10 minutes.
